Subject: Recovering Landing Papers -- no birth certificate
I am trying to order a replacement of my lost Record Of Landing (IMM 1000) Paper. However, I do not have the original passport where the date of entry was stamped, nor do I have available a birth certificate. What can I use to substitute for this missing portion of supporting documentation?

What I do have is my Canadian Citizenship Certificate. The original IMM 1000 paper was used to obtain the Citizenship, so the CIC must have references numbers of that document somewhere. Can this be a sufficient substitute?

I believe the record of landing is an important document to recover and have a record of, since it can be used as supporting documentation in case my Citizenship Certificate becomes lost of destroyed.

Lost landed immigration paper (PINK) (in reply to: Recovering Landing Papers -- no birth certificate)
I lost my landed immigration pink sheet . I am now a canadian citizen and have a stamp on my old passport the day I entered canada. However, I need my pink sheet. I want to know how and where to call to start the process.

I also lost my Canadian Citizenship Certificate (paper). I have my CCC card but I need to apply for the paper type. Do you know how to go about getting a replacement certificate.

This is urgent and would appreciate your quick response. Thank you very much
