hi,
I am from India. My girl friend is a Canadian national, well settled there. But the thing is we never have met each other. We have communications through telephone, emails and postal mails. My questions are?
1) can she sponsor me ? if yes then what will the status of such relation ? common law partner or Conjugal partner ?
2) what documents are important as proof of our relation from the immigration point of view?

you can only apply as common law if you have lived together for one year or more.

hi,
alvira thanks for the input. but "lived together for one year or more" for both of us is not possible as both are employed in our respective countries. can´t leave the job right ! what then ?

After married you will automatically have legal relationship and you can travel as spouse.

correction to above post - if you are married, you will then be eligible to apply for family class sponsorship without having to live together for more than 1 year. Marriage does not change your freedom to travel nor does it guarantee you a PR.
