I have completed one year of education in Canada as an international student, hence can apply for FSW under new rules.
Can someone please explain me the following?
1) For claiming 15 points for Arranged Employment, what must the employer do? Does he have to provide me with a permanent offer letter or he has to go to HRSDC and get the AEO for me? If latter, then how long is the entire process? FYI, I am currently working for this employer for over 6 months now.
2) Currently, I am working on 1 year PGWP. Is it true that I can claim 15 points for work experience + 5 points for Canadian Adaptability factor (for working 1 year in Canada) before my completion of one year of work? I know the question may sound silly, but I have heard from many people that possession of 1 year PGWP and current employment status is enough to claim the points and there is no need to wait for the completion of one year when we file for immigration.
