Subject: Police Clearance Question |
For the in canada spouse application, I am required to get police clearance certificates. But I am wondering if I HAVE to send them immediately with the application? Or can I send them later on? It´s a long story as to why, but that is my question.
Thanks in advance.

(in reply to: Police Clearance Question) Sorry I am new to all this. When they say ´police clearance certificates´, do they mean to send in your fingerprints to the FBI and verify that you have no arrest record?

(in reply to: Police Clearance Question) You can get away with not providing police clearance at the time of submission depending on the type of In Land application and personal circumstances.
If your partner is an American CIC will not look kindly on an In Land application. Your creating work when its not necessary.
Understand if your residence is in a certain area of the country to upset you CIC can kick it for an interview and your partner will be stuck without a decision for two or three years.
