Subject: Been in Canada for 2 years marrying a Canadian..ad
  Hi All,
I am currently working in Canada for a Canadian company on a 2 year work permit. This permit expires in June 2009 and I am marrying my Canadian Finacee in Dec 2009. Would you suggest it is better to try and extend my current work visa irrelevant of my impending marriage (My company will support me) or apply for a common law status with my canadian fiancee?

Ideally i need to continue working and not leave the country and then reapply. I am a British National.
