This is Hamsapriya
I live in toronto from Sep 08 in Student VISA [ study permit ]
I do my Ph.d Here , My work Permit is Valid till 2011.
Now i wnat to call my husband and daugher[ 2 1/2 yrs old ] to come here
In what category they have to apply
1. TOURIST VISA
2. Applying WORK PERMIT
if he comes in tourist VISA wthether he can apply for work permmit
But i internet i saw spouse of work permit / study permit holder can apply for open work permit and it valid up to my study permit validity
If i could get any details in this regards it would be appreciated

did you include your husband and child in your original application?
if not, you may have some difficulty. people who come on a tourist visa are not eligible to work.

not what I asked. did you include them as accompanying family members in your application - that they would be coming to Canada with you?

sir/madam,
i am from the philippines my husband is a canadian i want to apply for tourist visa coz i just want to visit my husband i really miss him so
much we are just newlywed, and we are planning to have our second honeymoon in canada and visit my husband
parents and realatives, and guaranty that i will leave canada on the end of my stay, wat i am worrying is i dont have
a bank accout or any finances, and dont have a job, my husband supporting me with all my needs, is it possible
that i can still apply for tourist visa, and my husband will cover all my expenses on my stay in canada thanks! hope
you can help me..
