Hello,
I am a US citizen planning on getting married to a Canadian. Is it possible to drive into Canada to live with him and then go through appling for sponsership? I am bringing all I own and my 3 dogs. What documents would they ask for? Do I need to show proof I will be going back in 6 months? (from reading others questions I am gathering I enter on a 6 month stay allowed to visit). Thank you.

if you are bringing all your worldly posessions they will likely turn you back at the border.
would strongly urge you to consider and outland application.

More I´m reading here more I see this was a bad idea. Thank you for responding. What if I come to the border with my fiancee and my dogs? I will still have address and banking in US. Could I work on outland app from inside? Thanks for quick response...I´m learnin as I go.
