I HAVE NOT SAVE ANY MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT SINCE THE PROCESSING OF MY APPLICATION. HENCE, I WAS ASK TO SUBIMT MY FUNDS BY NEXT MONTH. PLEASE CAN U ADVISE WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SHOW MY FUNDS IE. DO I NEED TO OPEN A FIXED DEPOSIT, SAVINGS DEPOSIT, any bonds, certificates ? MY PARENTS ARE WILLING TO HELP ME AND SEND MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT. HOW SHOULD I SHOW THIS MONEY? WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED IF ITS A GIFT MONEY.
APPRECIATE YOUR HELP ON THIS MATTER.

I think it doesnt matter which bank product are you using, they will request the bank statement for the last 6 months, and they will know if those money are really yours...

i have the money ready for the funds however i just recently open my account. would that be a problem?? I can provide a bank statement for my payroll account. pls. help how will i show my funds? and these sudden flow of funds in your account wont be a risk to decline my application.

It is possible that they will ask you for 6 months statement. They don’t always ask for it, but they could.
If you recently opened an account, then you really don’t have a choice. You can’t just will it to become a 6 months old account, so why worry about it.
If the money in the account is a gift, I think you should be ok. I don’t know what documents, if any, you need to show for that.
CIC does need prove that the money is your own, but I don’t see why they wont accept gifts as long as they believe that the gift is for you to keep and not something you will return to your parents soon after approval.
But, honestly, I dont know how CIC will respond to the gift.
Anyone else wants to jump in here?
