Hello Roy, I have very urgent questions to resolve, please help.
I landed in Toronto on 21st evening as new immigrant along with my wife and six months old son. My wife and infant got fever during long journey from India and needs urgent medical care.As there is 3 months wait for OHIP card, how can I buy health insurance for short term which will cover atleast infant health expenses and vaccination?

(in reply to: Health Problems of New Landed Immigrant) Purchase private health insurance through a company such as Blue Cross. It will cover your medical expenses including any necessary prescriptions.
Blue Cross is very inexpensive. We paid about $200 per month for our family of 3.
Hope this helps, and hope your family is recovering. Welcome to Canada!
