| Subject: CAIPS QUESTIONS...PLEASE HELP |

hello... I hope some of you remember me... I promised not to come back until I hear from CIC... well I haven´t yet :O(
For those of you who remember me... please keep in mind that I had a hard time getting a police certificate from my husband´s native country and that is the reason this whole thing is taking so long (I think) We already got medicals done and my husband´s last pc was sent in June... Our medicals were done Dec 31, 2007...
I received my CAIPS notes and was shocked to find out that there were 13 pages of information!
I would like to know if some of you can help me read the thing!
On the very first page there is a section called ´CASE STATUS´ there they say: MEDDEC 0 (Does this mean they havent made a decision with regards to our medical conditions?... later on I could read that most of us got M01 which is perfect... my son who had a heart condition when he was a baby got M03... my husband doesn´t show anything!
On the same page (1), there is like a list of our names with names first, then Client ID (we all have a client ID except for my husband, why do you think that is?), then next to that are Dates of Birth, then STATUS SEC CRIM (this section is all blank for all of us, even though i read in another page that all of my pc were ´clean´), then next to that there is the MEDICAL STAGE VALIDITY we (my kids and I)show M01 or M03 and then the date of expiration of medical exams (31-12-2008) There is nothing next to my husband´s name for this category! why is that?
Then on the next page, they have like a day by day sort of list of things that happened to your file... on one of this dates... there is a note that says: ´syrian pc in; scc emailed enquiring on status of (what is scc?)
Then the very next entry says: never rc´d request - urgent (what do you think that is refering to?
The last event listed says: NAMES TAKEN AS PER PPT FILE TO PA
I understand: file to PA... but what is PPT?
Do you think that my husband´s security screening is the reason for him not showing a Client ID, or Medical Stage Validity?
Do you think my son scoring M03 in the medical check up is a bad thing at this point?
Another thing... while reading I found out they only gave me 01 for education code... which means secondary or less! this resulted in 2 points less that I expected... I now barely have enough point to pass the paper screening... should I bother to correct this error? or since I passed the paper screening I should just let it go?
I am sorry to be such a pain... but I really thougt I could tackle the interpretation of the CAIPS notes on my own...

Dear Lily,
You can go on CIC website and in "SEARCH" mention whatever words from caips not cleared to you. Proably you will be able to find out the meanings.
Tidious job but has to be carried out.
I will also try to find out the meanings...
I hope you remebere me... Thallasaemia kids medical problem ...

Oh, hi RAJ_1 yes I remember you... I hope everything is going well for you and your family... thanks for replying. Actually I already searched and found a really good post on trackitt but my issue is more related to the lack of information for my husband... no Client ID Number, nothing to show for his medical examination results, etc...
With all the writing I did, I forgot to mention the bottom part of the whole CAIPS NOTES... which is:
PAPER FILE SENT TO PA FILE BF´D TO: CSM ON 06-10-2008
I get from that that the file was sent to a storage area and will be brought forward for review on the 6th of Oct...
I hope some more people could provide me with some insight... let´s see if they write.

Thank you guys for trying to help me... well, Tariq I am still waiting for an answer... I just wrote them an email asking for an update... no answer to that either... I am just back to work after the summer (I am a teacher) and that helps to keep my mind occupied with other things... I´ll just wait and see what happens...
And Raj_1... I took a look at the manual... but I think that is more like general procedures related to each category of immigrant... not really giving any meanings of codes or abreviations... but its okay... I think I got as much as I was going to get our of those CAIPS notes...
