I really can´t say. Depends on what the doctor report says and the discretion of the medical officer CIC. I think you are going to have to cross your fingers and hold your breath for an answer.

I hope it works out for you.

and sharon I´m just curious too.

will it affect the entire family´s application? my father is the principal person that I sponsored. his dependent would be my mom and my sister.

does this mean that once there is a problem with the family´s application like in my mother´s case? this will affect all?

thanks.

and by the way, do you think there were approved cases of sponsorship like with my mom?

to be totally honest, I really can´t say about whether CIC approves or not because I don´t have any concrete examples. However, when one member of the family is declined, a decision would likely have to be made. do you drop the inadmissable family member from the application so that the others can continue?

tough decision in my opinion. would your father immigrate with your sister and leave your Mom behind?

Thanks for the reply sharon.

Well, honestly that´s a crucial decision.

My mom has been going in and out of canada since 2005. she was always granted with a Tourist Visa along with my Dad and my sister. My mom has been visiting us almost every year to help me watch over my newborn daughter. We are from Philippines.

They were granted tourist visa´s three times already. but i know it´s totally different since tourist visa´s doesnt require medical exams.

------------------------

I was just worried if this would affect her application, since going in and out of canada is very costly, unless she´ll be granted a permanent residency she doesn´t have to move out of canada always.

But there is still room for hope right?

if they decline her application, I doubt that she would qualify for another Tourist Visa. CIC would be concerned she would not leave at the end of her visit - especially if the rest of the family was in Canada.

Roy may have some suggestions about a H&C application or may say that the Hep B is not a concern. He is probably away with his family for the long weekend. Hang on for a couple of days for him to reply.

Thanks sharon...

My mom´s case with Hepa B is not really serious. Her body was able to develop anti bodies against the virus. according to the doctors, the virus is inactive.

I wonder what would roy say about this. ):
