hi everyone.
im newbie here...anyone with great infos and opinions are really appreciated.
i finished my work as a caregiver. in two months, i will apply for permanent residency and open permit. my case is this:
i am from Thailand. i got married recently (back in thailand) with my Canadian citizen fiance, now my other half.
what should i do now? i am so eager to apply my PR because i know i am eligible.
should i include my other half, canadian citizen, though my spouse is on a welfare?
what is my status now? i am married to a canadian citizen, but spouse is on welfare, yet i can apply PR on my own..

if your Canadian citizen spouse is on welfare - they cannot sponsor you.
therefore, you have to come on your own merits but you will be required to list that you are married.
look to see if you qualify for a Provincial Nominee Program.
