| Subject: How many Baggages an immigrant is allowed? |
Hi
My wife that I am in the process of sponsoring, is asking me how many baggages she can bring when she comes here? 2 (23 kg) like any other traveler or more because of her immigration visa?

you can bring hundreds of bags if you can afford to pay your airline the extra money other than what is allowed 2 bags of 23 kg and an hand carry.....Usually all the the airlines allow 2 bags with a certain weight and a hand carry. Baggages have nothing to do with your immigrant visa. Limit of weight and baggaes is airline´s issue not an immigration´s issue.

I think the OP is asking because certain airlines to Australia allow immigrants double baggage allowance for their immigration flight. Unfortunatly I don´t know of any airlines that do this for Canada

British Airways will allow 32kg X 2 + hand carry till Nov 08

It depend´s which AIrlines you are travelling. It would differ between 5-7 kilos between Airlines ( let say if you are flying from EU) BUT the basic rule would followed given by the IATA.Better consult your airlines since they are the expert.
