I need some sincere advise
I graduated in 2004 from college and left Pakistan for 1 month holiday/visitor visa to South Africa, although my intention was always to work. Once in SA I luckily found work immediately, meantime I got extensions on visit visa and eventually obtained work permit.
In mid 2006 I had to come to Pakistan to visit my seriously ill mother. Going back when arrived at the airport after 1 month, the South African immigration refused me entry on the grounds that my work permit was not obtained through legitimate source. I opted for self repatriation due to the illness in my family in part, I was unable to take up the matter legally in South Africa though I had a strong case.
Since then I am employed in IT company. My previous expired passport contains visa stamps from those 2 years of travel. Also, my CV has this work exp abroad,
If I apply for FSW Canada how will the above situation affect my case as I have heard that the srutiny process is in detail? Will the CHC in Pakistan ask me to submit all previous passports along with other documents? While I can assure I have no criminal record apart from the screw-up above, and also might be able to obtain police reports as i have no adverse record during my stay in SA.

(in reply to: Previous Work/Travel history & Canada Immigration) you will be required to submit police clearances for every country you lived in for more than 6 months. You also have to list where you have lived and where you have worked.
your current passport is all you will be required to submit.
