Subject: Canadian Experience Class- Proposed Requirements
  Hi All

I have gone through the (proposed)requirements for the Canadian Experience Immigration Class and I discovered that foreign students who completed 1 year postgraduate program in Canada are not qualified for the foreign students stream unless they have at least a total of 2 years Canadian education i.e they must have studied in Canada for at least one aditional year before or after the 1 year PG program.

This is different from the requirements for foreign students Off-Campus and Postgraduation work permits.

I have waited for the Canadian Experience Class for so long, can someone help me shed light into this requirement?, Im a bit confused.

Thanks

no, we can´t. those documents are barely a week old and there is no additional info available at this moment. we are all in the dark.

you will need to hang on a little longer.

Application forms for CEC (in reply to: Canadian Experience Class- Proposed Requirements)
Can anyone please tell me whether I can use the FSW class application forms for the CEC since the cic website says that one needs to shoot the application to the Buffalo office?
Also please tell me which office I should approach to get in-person clarification? I live in Calgary.
From the cic website..........

Applying

All applicants would have to have temporary resident status in Canada at the time of their application for the Canadian Experience Class. They would initiate their application by mailing it to CIC?s visa office in Buffalo, New York. This visa office is dedicated to temporary residents who have been in Canada for at least one year. If accepted, they could be granted permanent residence from within Canada at a local CIC office or at the closest border crossing.

You are going to have to wait. the program has been announced but nothing is formally in place.

I´ve been working here in Canada for 3 years now as a minister of religion (clergy). Since my line of work does not require work permit, would I still be qualified to apply under the Canadian Experience Class.
