Subject: Federal Skilled Worker
  Hi
Can you please advise me, currently I am living and working in Pakistan and want to apply for PR as Skilled worker. I understand it takes at least three years. Is it worth it? Also, once the Canadain High Commission here is ready to assess my application, how strict they are in terms of screening etc and other criteria? in other words should I be able to get through easily?
Also, what about new report of reduction in backlog and quick processing? any thing concrete from CIC?

Priority would be given to the skilled worker immigrants. If you are a highly skilled applicant and in high demand in Canada then your processing would be short. But rememeber, still thing are not clear. Look at www.cic.gc.ca for the latest. www.immigratedoctorcanada.com
