I am living in Toronto as PR since Dec 2007, after lots of thinking, I am planning to move to Vancouver in few days.
I personally feel Toronto is great city to live , lots of professional jobs in all sectors, skin color and accent does not matter a whole lot as mostly every second person is an immigrant in Toronto but I hate the cold weather and I am planning to make a move, also I have brother and is family in California, so I am close to them in Vancouver
I have done my MBA in marketing(from India) and I am looking for jobs in professional business services, please tell me how is the job market in Vancouver area, I have heard about higher cost of living, Since I am single i just want to rent a room in good location and move on
Is it easy to get a survival jobs for initial few months of settlement, I don´t know anybody in Vancouver, and that´s making me afraid,
Any help in finding a room, info on survival jobs etc will be highly appreciated , also feel free to discuss advantages and disadvantages of living in Vancouver

Vancouver as you know may not have opportunities as in Toronto, however netting a job depends on your area of profession, experience, especially your Canadian experience age etc which is not mentioned in your mail also your experience in getting your first job in Toronto as an immigrant would help.
