hiya my wife has applied under the fedral skilled program i am also included in her application i have past convictions
FAILING TO SURRENDER TO BAIL 30/10/91
Possession counterfeit currency with intent to use 28/5/93
driving while under the influence of alcohol. Fail to provide specimen 22/12/05
will these cause my wifes application a problem as i am reading from Q/A from the cic site i come across
If a conviction is considered spent under the UK Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, this will probably not affect his/her application
and the above convictions under the
Criminal offence and the conviction ?spent? in accordance with the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
have been spent Rehabilitation period.
can someone confirm plz if this is correct as i cant get it confirmed.

(in reply to: old conviction) Check with your authorities to see if any crimminal record exists. If nothing exists you will be fine.

old conviction (in reply to: old conviction) i have had my police clearance cert on it it lists the above even though under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 uk the times have been spent they will still stop on police records for at least another 3/4 yrs then they are stepped down which means they will notify who ever asks for that there is some convictions and will only provide the details if asked for.
