| Subject: Time frame -Process for Peruvian Spouse Residence |

Hi Everyone
My husband is from Ottawa Canada,I m from Peru and still in Peru, We sent our application on March 6th 08, my husband was approved as my sponsor on April 31 2008 ,my papers were sent to the embassy in Peru,My husband was never able to check the application status on ECAS , and I m still waiting for the Canadian Embassy in my country (PERU)to give me a file number so I can check the status on ECAS .
I would like to know about your experience ,your time frame
-How does the embassy or council contact you when they want to give you the file number or let you know something? letter ,phone call?
Also I need to know when We can pay the right of residence(449?$ or about that) We did not pay it at the beginnig of the process ,so would it affect our application time?? Plz I would appreciate if you give me enough details to have a good idea of what to expect , like dates and things the embassy or council did or say .

My husband was approved as my sponsor on March 31st 2008! In less time than supposed !
