I live in Canada illegally for long time(10 years)I speak fluently English and French . I came through the back door because I had no other way to get in, not every one has PhD or enough money to apply straight . all this years I work in renovation and construction field.
I would like to know if do I have any chances to apply for skilled worker program here in Quebec, my employer is going to help me, because I?m a good worker , and he hardly can find some one else to replace me . so he needs my skilled hands .
should I do any move, or stay low ? so both side will continue to lose (me and Canada), only my home country is a winner .

it´s kinda like this -
you will be required to supply where you have lived and worked for the last 10 years.
ooooops. me thinks you have not paid a dime of income tax on your earnings for the past 10 years. How will you show your work experience without showing your employment. If you show your employment, there is a chance they will check your earnings as you were not in the country legally.
ouch. even if you left the country and reapplied for a work permit they will ask for police clearances and wonder how you supported yourself in Canada all this time.
the tax man may be knocking at your door.

i think it will be beter for me to keep same situation for next 10 years, and wait maybe one day they do some kind of amnesty.

I would like to fix my situation, but i´m not sure how to do it.i´m not ready to leave and apply from oversea.how can i aplly in canada is my quetion.how many chances do i have not to get deported . by the way i´m not hidding , just trying to stay out of trouble, like extrime sports and driving.
for your information, almost half of the renovation in this country paid by cash.how you can trace cash money, so people like me alway can get a job here. since no more visa for almost all EU contry, more people you will see on constrution site , most of them from eastern europe.

George you know what you have to do but I do not see the desire to come out of the cold that must be seen as the expectation of becoming a PR.
Talk is cheap R U ready to act?
Many refugee claimants after paying smugglers (snakeheads) to get into Canada to claim refugee status they go on welfare to get legal aid so the government can pay for their representative. Then why would anyone show them compassion because they are a drain on the economy and that can not prove establishment.
You are like the 400,000 - 600,000 undocumented worker who just came and worked without authorization.
I hate when I hear I can´t do that, because I was paid cash!
If a prostitute, bank robber, thief can pay taxes on money obtained and CRA Canada Revenue Agency are not allowed to inform the police what is your problem?

So your in the construction field doing renovations etc. You don´t know one other illegal person working without authorization, YEAH RIGHT!

Yesterday I went downtown Toronto to meet a client of mine. Downtown Toronto, right downtown. My client is a construction manager who was told to get on a plane 1 1/2 years ago and he is still here. He is illegal too, same time frame as you. I had to pick up some keys from him and I was impressed as to the number of workers on the site under his supervision.
He said "Roy their all illegal get me a bunch of your cards and I´ll keep you so busy that you will have your 1/2 million dollar yacht by July".
Well you did not take Sharon´s advice last yesterday because there is no e-mail from you.
You do not believe in common sense that Canada is even changing the Immigration Legislation to bring in more workers so it would be common sense to show you compassion. Your making a good buck and are probably established driving a Audi R8 I hope. No record because you been keeping your head low. Fluent in both languages, 10 plus years experience. GET REAL you scream positive H&C.
