| Subject: Immigrant Summary Form after medicals and bg check |

I submitted my medical on 12 of July 2007. Few weeks ago, I inquired about the status of my application, and I have been advised that my bg check is still under process. Today I received a letter asking me to submit a completed immigrant summary and supplementary information form for each family member over age of 18.
Any idea how long I should wait again to hear back after submitting the forms CIC requested? I applied from Dubai (London Office).

that s a veey bad sign , its gonna take long ,iam not sure but i read many forums i many languages ,and some application are red flagged at the point of the background check,don t be scared it doesn t mean you did somthing,most of people who has problem with the background check and request seconde interview are usually clean honnest people,they end up getting their visa,but the waiting will be long
the question is why those who didn t do anything are redflagged, the answer is ,no one realy knows
advise :don t focus on waiting for the answer

That doesn´t make any sense that my application has been red flag. Why now?! I have been waived the first interview and asked for my medical exams directly. I have been into Europe, US and UK many times, and had no problem at all. I think it is just they want to have new fresh information. The question, is how long it is going to take, I did not expect an answer whether this is a good or bad sign.

we have no way of predicting how long it is going to take. I would think every case is different and every cic office is different depending on your travel history etc.
wish we could put your mind at ease but we would simply be speculating. I doubt that is what you are looking for.

i could lie and tell you its gonna take Xmonths how do i know,how do you expect an answer at the point where even the embassy can never give you the right waiting time,
the answer that i gave you is clear , for some case it blocks at the background, i didn t say it was you i said its a bad signe, if you don t wanna hear it its your choise
i am starting to get sick of those who ask questions and start to be agressive when the answer is not in their teast, any how
do you read french? ill send you some stories

Acrobat- there is nothing personal here. I still appreciate your answer regardless what I am thinking about it. I would appreciate if you send me the french stories you talked about so I can learn more about my situation. I will manage to translate them.
