Hi folks,
We got our medical and assuming everything goes well and we are offered permanent residency. Does my wife has to be with me when I do landing or I can do it myself. I am in US currently on H1B and I am the priciapal applicant. My wife is in Pakistan.

If you are the principal applicant, you have to do the landing first or together with your wife. Your wife also can land later after you have completed the landing formalities, within the validity of her PR visa.

Hurry up man! Land and i hope that you already arranged someone who can let you use his address for next three years as required by cic to get citizenship. then you can go back to US and wife can to Pakistan.

@Anonymous - in very simple terms you are a plain idiot. You dont realize that Pakistanis need to register at the border when coming/leaving USA. The scenario you said was possible when there was no registration requirement. With all these stamps on the passport when you go for your citizenship and they see all these stamps, they can really mess up your immigration.
With all that said, I have lived/studied in Canada for 5 years and I dont need a "borrowed" address. I have Canadian driver´s license, credit cards that are ALL still valid(no need to tell me that I cant have more than one licenses, I use only one).
Also my advice you is people come to this forum seeking advice/suggestions, if you cant give a good suggestion, better not post with your stupid comments. Also think of joining Canada Customs and Immigration. But then again who might risk hiring an idiot...

Good to hear that you have to go for registration. its all because you that guys that all canadians are suffering. CIC is tighting up you guys and that days are not very far when you guys have to stay and live 10 years before getting the easiest Canadian citizenship. You guys have to work and spend here whatever you guys earn, if you wants to live in my country. we don´t need earn here and spend there immigrants.
