I just read this story I thought should be shared with folks here. It shows how sophisticated the scammers can be! Very interesting albeit a sad story for those who lost money. This story also made me think why on earth people are so crazy to come to this frozen tundra! Not sure if their lives are THAT bad in their homelands, which kind of doesn´t make sense since the victims were paying quite some dollars! They are probably doing fine at home and had no control on their greed? It beats me... makes no sense whatsoever.

Why is your title Fresh Scam? MOTIVE?????
The issue is why do the representatives authorized and not authorized believe they are the victims!
Why did Khattra not have a contract with Byer that is a violation.
Why on earth would these people pay for an orientation and adaption process.
Why on earth pay $5,300 for a work permit and then go up to $10,000.00
WHY DOES THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW PEOPLE TO CHARGE FOR ASSISTING WITH WORK PERMIT APPLICATIONS IF THEY ARE NOT AUTHORIZED ---SIMPLE-- They can not stop it. Anyone who has a neighbor who can fix their car will probably pay the neighbor to fix it for one third the price. Others who have no chance of getting into Canada legally pay people like this.
How come Sahota did not have Byer contact information for years?
COME on people ethnics ripping off ethnics is what I claim time and again. Then they claim they are the Victims.
This York College turned out a bunch of confident people who acted like they could solve any problem but........
If it sounds too good to be true RUN. Always get references.
