Subject: Last Remaining Relative
All of my sisters are in Toronto, Canada including my Dad. My Mom however was already sponsored by my sister and she is just waiting for her medical exam to complete the process.

If my mom?s sponsorship pushes through, would it be possible for her to file or any of my sisters to file a Family Reunification Program to sponsor me and my family here in the Philippines. I am currently married with 2 kids and we would love to go to Canada as well but we don?t know the fastest way to get there.

Is there really a Family Reunification Program? Or can they file the Last remaining relative visa?

Any response is highly appreciated. Thanks.

there is no such thing as family reunification in Canada, every thing is on papers only, trust me. If you sponsor your 65 years old mother or father, they will hold the file for 5 years. After 5 years if your parents are alive and lucky enough to get the visa then they will ask you sign a 10 years contract with them your parents will seek no support from the government as a senior citizen.

So reunification theory is all crap, trust me. This is a political statement only and nothing else.

your married with kids so your sister or mom would not be able to sponser you.

you can try a skill immigrant application.

The Humanitarian an compassionate grounds would not work for you as you have family of your own, and does not show much for compassion

The sponser would have to be your mother or sister, but they already have family here as well,Is your sister married, and would she be able to sponser her as her mother would count as a family member here in canada

last family member (in reply to: Last Remaining Relative)
Hi, I have been in Canada for 5 years and already sponsored my mom, dad and my younger sister. All of them are now hire, and we are so happy. We just mist one more person from our family, my older sister (30 years old, single).
So my wonder is how we can bring her hire as soon as possible?
Thanks

I do not think your sister qualifies - she is not likely under 22, full time student and dependent on her parents.
as the family is all in Canada you cannot claim you have no other relatives in Canada.

She would have to come on her own merits.

Immigration (in reply to: Last Remaining Relative)
Hi,
I am a widow. I have two children under 22 years of old. I am graduated and honors in Botany from Dhaka University. Now, I am a full time teacher of an elementary school. I have 15 years of experienced in my teaching profession.

We are five brothers and two sisters, I mean total member of seven. Among us six brothers and sister have gone to Canada as Skill Worker category immigration and all of them are Canadian Citizen. Now, I intend to go Canada to join my brothers and sister. How Can I go Canada? If I apply as Skill Worker class immigration, Can I get any special consideration by the Canadian Immigration Authority as Last remaining relative?

Thank you

Your early reply will be appreciated.
