Does anyone know how long a "deemed rehabilitated" information only application takes? A little background, US husband had an assault show up on his criminal record from June 1987. He spent the night in jail, had anger management classes for a month, and six months probation. He had no other jail time and has had a clean record ever since. I understand the full "approval for rehabilitation" can take six or months but does the "information only" form go faster? Thanks.

Deemed Rehab can be achieved at a POE preferably by car. Evidence is the key and reason to enter. Then I assume you will be doing a different application?

As evidence, he is ordering his original arrest record showing only overnight jail, the anger management class, and six months probabtion, which expired in December of 1987. He will also has his clean record since then. We are applying as outside spouse. Is that what you mean by application? Do you have any other suggestions. I called CIC again (third time) and this time was told to include all of the above info in the outside spouse application and send it along with the application. He has crossed the US/Canada border many times and has never been asked about this. Thanks.
