Online Status or Call Centre Information? Which one is reliable? Who updates information on CIC website and what is foundation of the information coming from CIC call Centres. I am getting a different feedback from both resources.
CIC website tells that initially my dad´s file was transferred to local office in Scarborough. Now it tells that File is returned to CPC on so and so date around (20-25 days ago)and they will continue to process the application under their normal service standards.
I call Call Centre and they tell me that file is with Scarborough and it is going to take 30 months in completing the whole process.
Help me please, i am very confused with all of this information. I have requested FOOS but it is a time consuming process.
Please let me know if you have any information about this.

I understand your frustration with e-cas. Today I had this client storm into the office regarding her out of status spousal sponsorship client.
We got a letter dated October 23rd that her file was transferred to the local office and gave her a copy. Then when she checks e-cas it says her file was returned and she may re-apply if she so desires.
TEN to ONE e-cas is wrong.
Scarborough has the file and I think you should go there since your residence is close. 200 Town Centre Court right beside the Scarborough Town Centre.
