(in reply to: Canada's BEst Places to Live) now google estevan.
The major industries in Estevan are coal mining, power generation and oil and gas. Estevan´s current population is 11,242.
I am afraid to check the weather.

(in reply to: Canada's BEst Places to Live) well, with the population of only 11242, low unemployement makes sense. You know what? Weather is terrible there, i just google it and its terrible......

(in reply to: Canada's BEst Places to Live) LOL Sharon.... thats a good one !!
Hmmmm since you are so determined.... maybe your move (with your guy) will result in a positive population growth next year for Estevan... ha ha... and may I suggest you convince a few of your doctor friends to move there with you too !!

(in reply to: Canada's BEst Places to Live) here is my version of the math. Let´s assume that 45% of the 11,242 are actually working. (that is probably high considering the population includes kids, seniors, stay at home Mom´s etc).
with a 1% unemployment rate we have 50 people in the entire town that are collecting EI.
I always love these types of charts.
