| Subject: US Police Clearace |
Hi all,
I recently got back the results of my FBI police clearance. They have stamped it as "NO ARREST RECORD" whereas I thought it should have been "NO RECORD". Is that something to be concerned about?

Thanks Mike. That relieves me a bit but just to confirm, on the FBI website they say it would be returned as "NO RECORD". Thats the reason I am concerned. Because this sounds like uif they DO have a record for me but its not an arrest record something else. Just my 2 cents..

Don´t know why they use this language but trust me , you are good. Because i mmigrated from US as well and i did FBI clearnace and received the same comments on my fingerprint card. Good luck with your application.

No Arrest Record means you have never been found in any activity where an arrest was required and you were arrested. You were never arrested means you have no criminal record. Just bear with lingo and CIC knows that this is what FBI writes when issues cleat chit to you. So do not worry and chill out.
