| Subject: Question about the Language requirement |

My sister needs to take the IELTS General asap. She needs to submit her complete file to the Canadian Embassy no later than July 12. Unfortunately in our country there is only one IELTS centre and there is no available date until June 28. By then my sister will be 9 months pregnant and she may not take the test due to her condition. Do you think, there is any hope that the Canadian Embassy will give her some extra time if she sends a request to postpone the deadline?
Please reply if you have any answer for me.

They defintely will give her extra time, there is no doubt about that....just address your concerns properly and keep a record of what you are sending them. Send it throug some reliable mail with tracking no. and keep all the reciepts etc. for future reference. Do not worry, you will be fine.
