Hi,
I am about to start the process for PR under skilled worker category. Right now I am in IL, US.
I went to the local police station to get the FBI fingerprint card. But the one this police station has is somewhat different from the one which can be seen be found here http://www.fbi.gov/filelink.html?file=/hq/cjisd/pdf/fpcardb.pdf
Do I have to order and use from FBI West Virginia or I can use the one which the local police station has.

Forgot to ask..
Can I download the form from this URL http://www.fbi.gov/filelink.html?file=/hq/cjisd/pdf/fpcardb.pdf
and use it?

Be careful that they didn´t give you the Illinois State fingerprint card, which is different and cannot be used for Canada immigration. That happened to me. They didn´t have the FBI card, only state.
But as I did, you can go to the telephone yellow pages and look up the FBI offices in Chicago near where you live. Usually if you call them, they´ll let you then stop by to pick up a few blank cards. I also think it´s ok to download the FBI card from their website. In either case, the local police can then use that card or paper to take your fingerprints.

Thank you for the reply.
I think I will download the form and use it. It seems that the FBI will take a month to mail the fingerprint KIT and I don´t want to wait that long.
I hope the download form will work.
Anybody rejected by anyone when the downloaded forms are used?

Hi,
Need one more info.
I have fingerprint form with finger printed already.
Do i need to send my passport, ssn no copy to FBI along with this form?

No, you dont need to send copies of your passport or SSN. But, you need to write your SSN on the FBI card (the one you downloaded). There is a space for that (and other) information on the card.
