| Subject: Receiving PR visa using Fedex |

Hi everybody!!
I received a mail from the consulate in Buffalo asking for my passport so they can put my PR visa in it last week (YAY!).
I sent them my passport by Fedex on wednesday and add another return Fedex enveloppe with my account number so they can sent me back my passport (I live in Toronto).
The problem is that I called the Consulate and the person I talked to told me that they will not use the Fedex enveloppe to send me back my passport...!!!
Is that correct? Did it happen to any of you?
Please answer me as soon a s you can.

This usually is the process that you send the passport along with the self addressed prepaid envelope and they send it back to you. Sending passport overseas looks an issue to me otherwise i do not see any proble. However, if somebody from the consulate is telling you that they are not going to send the passport through the FEDEX then you were suppose to ask that person that what is that you need to do in this kind of sitaution then. Contact them agin and get complete information.

In the letter I received when our application was approved, it clearly stated that if you live in Canada, you ought to include a Canada Post National Expresspost return envelope, and that they will not return passports by courier (ie: FedEx).
I would suggest contacting CIC again to let them know that you will be sending along a Canada Post envelope; they can tag your passports and visa until your return envelope reaches them so they don´t get lost in the shuffle. I wouldn´t worry about it, but I wouldn´t delay, either.

I have the same question, I sent my passport by fedex to Syria and add another return Fedex enveloppe with my account number so they can sent me back my passport.
Know I heard that maybe they can´t return my passport,is that right? do you receive your passport finaly?
