Subject: 90 days update
  Hi there,
I am in the process of updating my file. According to the 90days letter I need to update New Schedule 1 and IMM0008 forms. Shedule 1 form is fine but when I downloaded IMM0008 form from CIC london website it reads "Federal Skilled Wokder class simplified application process". I think this form is for those who applied after sept 2007. How to get the older version of the form, or shud I submit this form?
Please reply
Thank you for your help.

You should already know which application kit you´re applying under. Simplified is for applicants residing outside Canada and USA. Regular is for legal residents of Canada or USA. You should use the forms that apply to your type of application. If you´re trying to get these forms from CIC London website, it sounds like you´re under the Simplified process.

You can go the the main CIC website as well and get the forms you need. Here´s a link to CIC where you can find the kits and forms for Regular and Simplified.

Thanks Richard and Dan,
Richard my application is already in process at CIC london. I have recieved 90days update letter, which says I need to update "NEW" IM0008 form and Schedule 1 form. This is a normal req. from CIC london when your application reaches the top of the list.
My question is which form shud I submit the IM0008 available on CIC london website or the one you have mentioned in your previous post.london CIC website, has IM0008 for simplified application.

Thank you once again for your help and time

Ciao, I also applied to London. When I updated my infos it´s mentioned in that letter what application I suppose to add ( also the web link). Don´t you get that link? I guess if you applied on simplified way then use that application; otherwise normal application.

Thanz Tariq,
The link in the letter takes me to the simplified form. Thats why I am confused. I applied in Dec. 2005 and used the regular procedure, as simplfied application was not available at that time.

ROY!
Do you have any idea what to do?

Thanx
regards

Scientist,

You´ll know if you used Regular if all forms and supporting documents had to be sent in at one time with the application.

If the instructions indicated to send documents later when asked in the future (i.e university transcripts, employement, etc.) it was Simplified.

It does sound like it might be Regular in your case, because of when you applied (before Simplified). Why not email London CIC and ask them to verify which process you´re under, and at what link to get the proper forms they need you to complete?

Scientist, have you checked that is there any difference between the simplified and regular application form? If not then use one of them. I would send that application which is mentioned in CIC London letter and also send them explanation why did not send the regular one.

OR you can fill up BOTH application and they can choose which one is right.

I am sure if you send the wrong application form then they will contact you if they don´t except that. Of course, it will be time consuming. If you want ROY´s advice then start a new thread.Good luck.
