I found this on a site with an article about post-graduation work permits:
"You will need to submit your application for a Post Graduation Work Permit before your Canada Study Permit expires and within ninety days of receipt of written confirmation that you have satisfied the requirements for your program (the issuance of your final grades). If necessary, you can always request a one-time Bridge Extension on your Study Permit."
What is a "bridge extension"? When would a student, applying for a post-grad work permit, need to request a one-time bridge extension?

hi
i have come to canada under student partnership program in a community college for a post graduate diploma of one year.my course as well as my canadian student visa expires on the same day i.e.31st dec 2010.could u please let me know if in case i apply for a work permit of one year befor the completion of course so the i dont need to go back to india.

I gonna finish my school at the end of April and my study permit finishes May 31. Can i apply for bridge extension for like one month to prepare all the documents, get transcripts etc.????

Hello
I have finished my gaduate studies on August 2013 in Ontario. I started another master degree in BC since September 2013. In the middle of the program, I decided to leave the program. Right now, i wanted to get the work permit. I am wondering can i get bridge extension and still apply for PGWP?
