Subject: Are SW applicants eligible for appeal ?
I live in Canada and applied last year in Buffalo. I am just wondering if skilled Worker applicants are eligible for appeal. What if the officer give less point that it should be. Can applicant have the chance to appeal ? I

Thanks

my understanding is no. The only iffy issue is language and that is why they ask for IELTS - no dispute.

I think you can go to federal court but its too costly and very long process.

What I meant by that is. I didn´t get rejected but I am very curious to know. The CIC officer gave me less point than I should have. I then wanted to make it clear to the person who is reviewing my application that I should get more. That is a reason.

Can they give sometome to reclaim about the points or anything else ?

Please, tell us what requirements to apply as a skilled worker the officer gave you less points??? (education, age, adaptability, etc.)

Ken,

You are given around 30 days (may be 60 days..not sure) to send your response to their decision. During that time you can submit evidence which shows that you have been awarded less points.

If you suspect something is not right with your case process, order CAIPS to see the progress on your file and the notes made by immigration officer.
