Hi,
we applied for PR from Sydney office in Australia at Aug. 2005.I am the main applicant.
They asked us to show the proof of fund and other documnets in January 2008 and because I´m not in Sydney, we sent my wife´s bank statement of the past six months as she is in Sydney.
They asked us again to show just proof of fund at 5 March 2008.
Does that mean that they didn´t accept it or they just need the updated one or something else?
Could you please help me?

IMMIGRATION APPLICATION FROM WITHIN CANADA (in reply to: Proof of fund)
I have always heard that its possible to apply for immigration from WITHIN Canada after one has stayed legally in Canada for 1 year.
Can someone refer to me necessary document to read to understand this or it means applying through Buffalo or other US Visa office?
Pls educate me.

if you are legally in Canada for one year, you have the option of applying through Buffalo or through the embassy that services your home country.
sometimes home country processing is faster than Buffalo!
