| Subject: Maternity leave on temporary work visa |

Hi,
I have a quick question; have been working with the same company for three years now on different work visas. My current is valid for another two years, will I be able to take maternity leave on a temporary work permit? How much would I receive?

Hi you can definitely get EI since you have worked for the company for three years.
EI amount is usually 55% and you may receive more depending on your employer.
