I applied for PR under the spouse or common-law partner in Canada .
6 month later, I have received a letter from CIC . The letter is that CIC need more informaiton of my address and work history. Even though I already submitted the information when I applied for PR, I sent it again.
Also, the letter said that I can apply for open work permit.
What I want to know is that my processign time is more delayed because of the letter which CIC need more info. ????
Plus, if I apply for OWP, I need to show my bank account balance to CIC. However, I and my husband do not have much money. Does bank account really affect to get OWP?
Please, give me some info,!!! help me!!!
Even though my husband is from Canada, he doesn´t know how immigration canada works very well......

Read the letter again and look for the word "STAGE ONE".

OWP is straight forward. Bank details are not required to get the OPW. All that is required is the spouse´s work permit / pr.
