I am landing a few months ahead of my wife and kids. I am the principal applicant when we applied for immigrant status.
I shall prepare 2 lists for myself:
a. Goods in Possession (2 copies)
b. Goods to Follow (2 copies)
Questions:
1. Should my Goods to Follow List include items that my wife shall personally be brining with her and the kids when they land a few months after me?
2. Can my wife have her own Goods to Follow List when she lands? She shall of course have her own Goods in Possession List.

Ok. One Goods to Follow list for the family which I shall be bringing with me.
But should my Goods to Follow List include the items my wife and kids shall be bringing with them? or Are items in wife´s Goods in Possession List when she lands distinct from items in my Goods to Follow List.
Now if my wife´s Goods in Possession List is a distinct list, should I give an advance copy to Customs when I land?
I am asking these questions thinking that I am the principal immigration applicant and documentation is based on me. Is this an accurate premise?
