hello everyone. this is my situation: i am holding a working visa to work in quebec right now, my girlfrend would like to move from her home country to stay with me here, she will entre canada as a visitor, we will get married after she arrived, and planning to apply a spouse work visa for her... is such visa easy to get? what does she need to bring with her? police certificate from her home country? what must i pay attention to?

she cannot obtain any sort of work visa until you have successfully completed stage one approval of your sponsorship application. You request it at the same time you send in your application.

Sharon, thanks for your response. I´m not sure if i understand the situation. what is the sponsorship application? where can i find out more about it? and what kind of application? I´m only holding a work visa, can i sponsor her?

sorry, I did not read your question exactly right. I believe you can get married and then you go through the precess of adding her to your own work permit.
not sure how easy it is or how long it takes.
