Subject: Spousal Sponsorship - using a lawyer
I´m a Canadian citizen, my husband is stuck in Ghana. I want his immigration to be as fast as possible. Should i use a lawyer? Why is there such a range in fees? ($500 - $3000) Is a consultant better?

a lawyer is only useful if he can verify that he has significant immigration training- not all do. In all cases, check references.

there is nothing quick or cheap about this. I doubt $500 will do it.
