Subject: Pay Stubs

Hi

I have an interview scheduled (LOCATION: Los Angeles)and CIC asked for my pay stubs from my past employers. I don´t have pay stubs with me but I filed Income Tax Return every year. Can I just present the letter of recommendation or experience certificates from my past employers?
