Calgary and Edmonton yesterday was minus 50c with the wind chill factor, Bill are you still there?

Sharon has a foot of snow and in Toronto today it was + 8 Celsius.

Who wants to move out west! LOL

na... I live in Richmond. No snow yesterday at all and today we had 4-5 inches. It is +3. :)

As for everybody else...burrrrrrrrr. looks like it is all the way down into the central US. The weather man suggests by the time it hits -40, the 2 temperature scales meet. so it is also -40F. skin freezes in 2 minutes or some such thing.

burrrrrrr.

Ah yes Richmond, capitol of the Confederacy and Old South. But I must be geographically confused. Seriously, here in Chicago we´re already getting your deep freeze from BC and AB - thanks very much.

Come to florida...

Within an hour in the sun, you will get so sunburnt that you will find new definition to the word AGONY :)

I am in Edmonton Alberta and -30 C in the daytime is fine. Just wear a couple of sweaters and woolen pants (jeans alone will make your legs cold). And do not forget mittens!

Better freezing in Canada then in USA!!!

Here it is ONLY zero degrees but I would LOVE to be -50 C and be IN CANADA ........... even if I become an ice cube I don´t mind ... it is a part of being in Canada ...

mmmgrmmmgmr when my visa will come ?????

By the way, can anyone explain to me what is this thing about Fort McMurray that Bill is talking about?

I made a yahoo search on it and it seems to be a pretty and cold tiny town in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE so why would you want to live there ?????

Nikolai - check out LL Bean. They sell flannel lined jeans and really comfy thermal shirts.

I have always thought that when it´s too hot there is an end to how many clothes you can take off to get relief. In the cold there is every opportunity to add another layer or discover those new fibres that they have been wearing on those Antarctic expeditions. I will take cold over hot any time.

Have you ever wondered how the animals don´t freeze to death?
