Dear all,
I hope you can give some suggestion or help. Recently i moved to Alberta, after spending 2yrs in qatar. In order to go for G5 test, Canadian authorites have reviwed my qatar licence and asking for a letter from issuing authority stating my full name, date of birth and driving history. Does anyone know how to get these details from qatari officials or ministry. if i cant produce this documents, i have to wait for one year.

(in reply to: Alberta Driving licence) You can get it from Qatar Embassy in Canada.
There must be agreement between Alberta Govt and Alberta Govt. If there is no agreement between them, then just request them to guide you on this.

UK paper licence (in reply to: Alberta Driving licence) Hi my husband & I are both from the UK. We went into a registry handed over our paper UK licences and were issued an Alberta licence there & then. No test written or otherwise. However, if the registry you go to asks for lots of ´proof´ say you will come back and try another registry. As they are independantly run each registry works differently!
Hopes this helps
Mandy
