how long does it take for a PR to obtain a holiday visa to the USA. I want to go on vacation there for 2 weeks. I live in Toronto

Your original answer is; 1/2 days in general unelss they need more security check. Don´t be that excited, that is after you are interviewed by the US embassy. Now the hard part is to get the interview date. Plan at least 1 months ahead, there are too many applicants. Only way is to use their online sytem:

Then it´s a luck play to get your appoinment in a desired place & date, you have to check it many times a day.
Really doesn´t depend on for how long you are a PR of Canada. They don´t care for that. If you are a 3 months old PR and have a good steady job then your probability is 1000 times more than an unemployed 3 years old PR. They only care for how well established you are in Canada.
