Hi guys,
I had applied for a LMO/HRSDC approved work permit to CIC-Vegreville AB...i am on a post gradute work permit in canada. recently i got a letter from CIC saying that the file is going to take long to be processed and when i called the call centre they said tht my file is transfered to another office.
Has anyone been through this situation and what would happen next? Please help me out as my post-gradaute is expiring soon??

Well since you should of submitted the application to Buffalo RPC or your countries Visa Post nothing will be completed so have a nice loooooooong wait.

which office was I suppose to send it to?
will CIC transfer my file there? they are saying its going to take further 16 weeks...my current post-graduate work permit expires on FEB 08 can i continue to work?

I´m just curious, who sends their work permit applications to Vegreville then? Isn´t his an extension? I thought work permit extension applications could be sent to Vegreville?
