Hi Gurus
I got my PR in Oct 2005 and have since not visited Canada cause me and my wife have good jobs in US and want to keep canada as a backup.
I know for maintaining PR one has to be in Canada atleat 2yrs in 5 yrs. The question is - Is there nay exception to this rule? or Can we maintain our PR beyond Oct 2008?
Thanks
-P

(in reply to: Maintaining PR question) Exceptions:
1. If you work for Canadian Govt./ or any Canadian employer overseas.
2. You stay with your Canadian citizen spouse overseas.
