Hey,
I heard recently that the CIC at St.Claires has shut down. Is this true? If yes than what will be the fastest way to change my employer on a work permit? Is there another CIC in GTA I could go to or do I have to mail it to vegreville and wait for 51 days according to the site?

Toronto Central CIC has not shut down but the system is designed to go through Vegreville CPC.

But if I need an urgent change on the permit, is there any chance that I can take my case to st.claire and plead to them to do it right there? I have heard that they do it if they see that it is urgent.

Hi i am going back to the Philippines for a vacation.Do i need to secure a new re entry visa coming back here in canada?I was issued a multiple re entry visa by the canadian embassy in Paris and it is still valid until March 2010.Thank you very much.

for those who are in urgent changing employer...
why dont u try to go and see there for yourself?
from what i heard, you have to go there with your prospect employer. and the waiting time is long.like 5-6 hours?am not sure. if its really urgent. like u dont have much time waiting for Vegreville...

if your multiple entry visa is valid until March 2010...u can go to take vacation without obtaining re entry from Buffalo or Manila, within that time frame.
