| Subject: tranferred to local consulate |
Hi, I applied for Canadian PR in April in the Buffalo consulate. I received a letter yesterday saying that my file was transferred to my local consulate-Detroit.
I just wanted to know if that is standard procedure..

Yes, it´s been normal procedure for a few years now. It´s actually good news since they´ll now seriously begin processing your application.
