| Subject: Question for OHIP experts |

We already have valid OHIP cards until January 31st, 2008 due to the WP validity.
Now that we got PR confirmation and about to land in a week, Do we still need to wait for 3 months for the OHIP to be effective?
Any experts / WP holders who had OHIP in Ontario and became PRs - please throw some light on this.

Wenever I had questions like this, I just called them. They were always very helpful. Better to get this kind of important information from the source.

As far as I am aware you have already waited your three months , you should get coverage straight away.
