| Subject: Importing car |
Hello all. If i want to import a car when i move to canada, do i have to give the VIN number in goods to follow list of just the model and make of the car would do. Thanx in advance for your kind help.

Yes. VIN number required, as well as description (colour, model, year, etc.,..) Also, they will ask for the paperwork of the car at that time to see that you actually own it.
Unless the car is coming from the US, I strongly discourage it, as even European standards are completely diferent. WWW.RIV.CA for details.
